Description

Make putting on socks easier and more independent with this simple Sock Aid.

Designed for people who have difficulty bending, reaching their feet or maintaining the positions needed to put on socks, the Sock Aid allows you to pull a sock onto your foot without bending all the way down.

It can be a useful everyday dressing aid for people with limited mobility, reduced flexibility, restricted reach, injury or during pregnancy, helping reduce the need for assistance with dressing.

Easy to Use

Simply slide your sock over the Sock Aid, lower it towards the floor using the straps, place your foot into the sock and pull upwards. As the sock slides onto your foot, continue pulling until the Sock Aid releases.

The surface is covered with terry cloth, which helps hold the sock securely in position while still allowing it to slide smoothly onto the foot.

Directions

  1. Load the sock – Slide the sock over the sleeve of the Sock Aid, leaving the opening ready for your foot.
  2. Lower the Sock Aid – Hold the straps and lower the loaded Sock Aid towards the floor.
  3. Insert your foot – Place your toes and foot into the opening of the sock.
  4. Pull upwards – Using the straps, gently pull the Sock Aid towards you. The sock will slide over your foot and heel.
  5. Remove the aid – Continue pulling until the Sock Aid slides free, leaving the sock in place.
