Sock Slider System – Easy Sock Dressing Aid with Long Handle

Make putting on and removing socks easier and more independent with the Sock Slider System.

Designed to reduce the need to bend, twist or reach down to your feet, this practical dressing aid consists of a sock cradle and a long handle. Simply load your sock onto the cradle, lower it to the floor and slide your foot into the sock.

The long handle provides additional reach and can also be used to help remove socks and hold shoes in position while putting them on.

This versatile dressing aid may be particularly helpful for people with limited mobility, reduced flexibility, restricted reach or difficulty bending.

How to Use

  1. Load the sock – Place the sock heel-side down over the cradle. Roll the cuff down over the sides until the toe of the sock reaches the top of the cradle.
  2. Lower the cradle – Attach or use the long handle to gently lower the loaded Sock Slider to the floor.
  3. Insert your foot – Slowly slide your foot into the sock opening and continue forward until your heel reaches the bottom of the cradle.
  4. Slide the sock on – Continue moving your foot forward until the sock is comfortably in place. Use the handle to help steady the cradle if required.
  5. Remove the cradle – Once the sock is on, gently withdraw your foot from the cradle.
